1. Agreement to These Terms

Welcome to ReelLove. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ReelLove website at https://reellove.info, the ReelLove mobile application, beta and early-access programs, and any related websites, applications, content, features, or services that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, participating in a beta program, or purchasing digital products, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services. Certain provisions apply only when the relevant features become available. Additional terms may apply to specific features, promotions, or services.

2. About ReelLove

ReelLove is a mobile-first entertainment platform offering short-form vertical dramas, serialized storytelling, animated productions, original series, and related entertainment experiences.

The Services may include original productions, licensed third-party content, free and paid episodes, virtual currency, subscriptions, community features, and promotional experiences.

ReelLove may develop, commission, acquire, produce, distribute, market, and license entertainment content, subject to its agreements with the applicable rights holders.

We may introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or content, subject to applicable law and any obligations relating to paid digital products.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services, or older if a higher minimum age is required by applicable law or the relevant app marketplace.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

Certain series may feature mature themes, violence, romantic relationships, strong language, or other sensitive material. Content ratings and advisories may be displayed where appropriate.

Users are responsible for observing applicable age restrictions. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors’ use of the Services as required by law.

ReelLove is not intended for children under 13, and children under 13 must not create accounts or submit personal information through the Services.

4. Accounts and Account Security

Certain features may require a ReelLove account.

You agree to provide accurate information when required, maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials, and promptly notify ReelLove of suspected unauthorized account access.

You may not impersonate others, create accounts for fraudulent purposes, or sell or transfer your account without authorization.

You are responsible for activity occurring through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

ReelLove may restrict or suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse, security violations, or material violations of these Terms.

5. Beta Programs and Early Access

ReelLove may offer beta, experimental, preview, or early-access versions of its Services (“Beta Services”).

Beta Services may contain errors, interruptions, incomplete functionality, or features that change before public release.

Participation does not guarantee future access, permanent availability, or the release of any particular feature.

ReelLove may limit beta participation, modify beta features, or discontinue a beta program.

Beta participants may voluntarily provide suggestions, bug reports, and feedback. ReelLove may use feedback concerning the Services to improve or commercialize its products without compensation, subject to applicable law.

Beta participation does not grant ownership of ReelLove’s software, designs, content, characters, or other intellectual property.

ReelLove may designate particular unreleased materials as confidential. Where ReelLove clearly communicates that designation, participants agree not to disclose those materials without authorization, except as permitted by law.

Purchases made during beta are governed by Section 13.

Purchased Coins do not expire solely because a beta program ends.

6. Intellectual Property and Original Productions

6.1 Ownership of Content

The Services contain original and licensed creative works, including audiovisual productions, serialized dramas, episodes, scripts, screenplays, storylines, protected characters and character designs, illustrations, animation, music, sound recordings, graphics, software, logos, trademarks, and promotional materials (collectively, “ReelLove Content”).

ReelLove Content is owned by ReelLove or the applicable creators, licensors, production partners, or other rights holders.

ReelLove owns or controls only those rights that have been created, assigned, or licensed to it under applicable law and agreements.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by their respective owners.

6.2 Original Series

ReelLove may develop, commission, produce, and distribute original series, including Hired by the Heir, and other original entertainment properties.

To the extent ReelLove owns or controls the relevant rights, the protected elements of these productions may not be commercially reproduced, distributed, adapted, licensed, or exploited without appropriate authorization, except as permitted by applicable law or these Terms.

Accessing a series does not transfer ownership of its underlying intellectual property to the viewer.

6.3 Personal Viewing License

ReelLove grants users a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and view content made available through the Services for private, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

This license is subject to compliance with these Terms and any applicable content-access restrictions.

Users do not acquire ownership of episodes, scripts, characters, or other content by viewing or unlocking them.

6.4 Unauthorized Distribution and Piracy

Except as authorized by ReelLove or permitted by applicable law, users may not:

Download, copy, reproduce, or distribute full episodes outside authorized functionality.
Upload episodes or substantial unauthorized portions to third-party streaming or file-sharing services.
Sell, sublicense, retransmit, or commercially exploit ReelLove Content.
Circumvent digital rights management, paywalls, access controls, or content-protection measures.
Present ReelLove Content as their own original production.
Use ReelLove’s protected content in unauthorized commercial products or services.

Nothing in this section restricts lawful quotation, commentary, criticism, parody, fair use, or other applicable copyright exceptions.

7. Fan Content and Community Creativity

ReelLove values fan communities and encourages creative engagement with its original productions.

7.1 Permitted Noncommercial Fan Activities

Subject to applicable third-party rights and the conditions below, ReelLove grants a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable permission, to the extent it controls the necessary rights, for fans to create and share noncommercial fan works inspired by ReelLove original productions.

Permitted activities generally include:

Fanart, illustrations, and character portraits.
Fanfiction and original fan-written stories.
Short fan edits, fancams, and character compilations.
Memes, reaction images, and fan commentary.
Cosplay and cosplay photography.
Fan theories, discussions, reviews, and analyses.
Noncommercial fan communities, appreciation pages, and fan accounts.

This permission does not transfer ownership of ReelLove’s underlying intellectual property.

Fans retain rights in their own original creative contributions, subject to ReelLove’s and third parties’ underlying rights.

7.2 Conditions for Fan Content

To qualify for ReelLove’s voluntary fan-content permission, fan works must:

Be primarily noncommercial and not be sold, licensed, or offered as paid products without authorization.
Not reproduce or distribute complete episodes or substantial portions that substitute for viewing the original.
Not falsely imply official endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with ReelLove.
Respect applicable intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights.
Comply with applicable law and the rules of the platform where the fan work is shared.
Not circumvent technical protections or unauthorized access restrictions.

Fans are encouraged to credit the original series and ReelLove when reasonably practical.

Failure to provide attribution alone does not necessarily constitute a violation of these Terms.

7.3 Fan Edits and Video Clips

ReelLove permits noncommercial, transformative fan edits using limited excerpts of original productions to the extent ReelLove controls the necessary rights.

This permission is intended for fan engagement, commentary, appreciation, and creative expression.

It does not authorize uploading full episodes, reconstructing episodes from multiple clips, redistributing substantially complete scenes as substitutes for viewing, or distributing unreleased or confidential content.

Third-party music and other separately licensed materials may be subject to additional restrictions.

7.4 Monetization and Merchandise

This voluntary permission does not authorize selling merchandise featuring protected ReelLove characters, artwork, logos, or other intellectual property.

Commercial licensing requires separate authorization.

Ordinary incidental monetization provided by social media platforms does not automatically disqualify a fan work from consideration under this policy, but ReelLove may require separate permission for sponsored content, paid access, merchandise, or other substantial commercial exploitation.

7.5 Fan Works Are Not Official Canon

Fan-created interpretations, alternate storylines, character relationships, and derivative narratives are not official ReelLove productions unless expressly designated otherwise.

ReelLove retains the right to develop its own storylines, characters, adaptations, sequels, and related works.

The existence of similar ideas in fan works does not, by itself, establish that ReelLove copied protected material.

ReelLove does not acquire ownership of a fan’s independently created original contributions merely because a fan work was shared publicly.

7.6 Withdrawal of Permission

ReelLove may modify or withdraw this voluntary fan-content permission for particular uses or works, including where necessary to address legal, licensing, safety, or rights-holder concerns.

Where reasonably practical, ReelLove may provide notice before requiring removal of previously permitted fan content.

Withdrawal of permission does not eliminate rights independently available under applicable law.

8. Artificial Intelligence, Scraping, and Content Extraction

Except with appropriate authorization or as permitted by applicable law, users may not systematically scrape, harvest, download, or extract ReelLove Content for the purpose of creating datasets or training, fine-tuning, or evaluating artificial intelligence or machine learning systems.

This includes unauthorized bulk extraction of scripts, episodes, character artwork, audio, subtitles, and other protected creative materials.

Users may not bypass access controls or technical restrictions to obtain content for these purposes.

This section does not prohibit lawful personal use, accessibility tools, search indexing expressly authorized by ReelLove, or other uses protected by applicable law.

ReelLove may establish separate commercial licensing arrangements for authorized use of its content.

9. Creator, Career, and Professional Submissions

ReelLove may invite writers, artists, filmmakers, editors, designers, engineers, producers, and other professionals to submit portfolios, pitches, creative materials, or professional information.

Submitting materials does not guarantee review, employment, compensation, licensing, acquisition, or a business relationship.

You retain ownership of your original creative submissions unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.

Submission alone does not transfer copyright or other ownership rights to ReelLove.

If ReelLove commissions, acquires, licenses, or develops submitted material, the applicable rights and compensation will be governed by a separate agreement.

ReelLove may independently develop or receive ideas involving similar genres, concepts, themes, or story structures. Similarity alone does not establish infringement or unauthorized use.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the materials you provide.

Do not submit confidential information through general submission channels unless ReelLove has expressly agreed to receive it confidentially.

10. Feedback About ReelLove

Users may provide suggestions, feature requests, bug reports, or other feedback concerning the Services (“Feedback”).

You grant ReelLove a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable right to use and develop Feedback for lawful business purposes without compensation, subject to applicable law.

Feedback does not include original creative submissions governed by Section 9 or independently created fan works governed by Section 7.

11. User-Generated Content and Community Features

ReelLove may provide comments, reviews, discussions, profile customization, reactions, or other community features.

You retain ownership of original content you submit through these features (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you grant ReelLove a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, format, and technically adapt that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, promote, and improve the Services.

This license does not transfer ownership of your original content to ReelLove.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit User Content and that it does not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights.

ReelLove may moderate, restrict, or remove User Content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or community guidelines.

Prohibited content includes unlawful threats, targeted harassment, doxxing, impersonation, scams, spam, and infringing uploads.

ReelLove may provide reporting tools and appeals processes where appropriate.

Users should avoid sharing personal information they do not want publicly displayed.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services lawfully and responsibly.

You may not:

Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or systems.
Introduce malware or disrupt service operations.
Circumvent paywalls, technical protections, or security measures.
Engage in fraud, harassment, threats, or impersonation.
Distribute unauthorized copies of protected content.
Use automated systems to abuse or overload the Services.
Manipulate Coins, rewards, payments, or account entitlements.
Submit unlawful or infringing material.
Misrepresent an unofficial fan account or production as an official ReelLove property.
Commercially exploit the Services without authorization, except as permitted by law.

ReelLove may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate enforcement action.

13. Purchases, Coins, Subscriptions, and Digital Content

13.1 Coins

ReelLove may offer virtual currency known as “Coins.”

Coins may be purchased, earned, awarded, or otherwise obtained through the Services and used to unlock eligible episodes, features, or digital benefits.

Coins are digital items, not legal currency, cryptocurrency, or financial instruments.

Coins have no cash redemption value and cannot be exchanged for money.

Unless expressly permitted, Coins may not be sold, transferred, traded, or used outside ReelLove.

Purchased Coins do not expire.

Promotional Coins may have separate conditions disclosed when offered.

13.2 Coin Packages

Coin package prices, quantities, bonuses, and promotional terms will be displayed before purchase.

ReelLove may change future Coin package pricing or quantities without reducing existing purchased Coin balances.

13.3 Episode Unlocks

Certain episodes may be available for free, while others may require Coins or another authorized entitlement.

The number of Coins required to unlock an episode will be displayed before confirmation.

When a user unlocks an episode, the required Coins will be deducted from the user’s balance.

Unlocking an episode provides a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access that episode through ReelLove while it remains available under the applicable service conditions.

An episode unlock does not transfer copyright or ownership.

ReelLove does not guarantee perpetual access to any individual episode.

13.4 Content Availability and Changes

ReelLove may modify, replace, re-edit, remove, or discontinue episodes or series for legal, licensing, technical, editorial, or operational reasons.

Previously unlocked content may become unavailable.

Where paid content becomes permanently unavailable, ReelLove will provide any refund, credit, replacement access, or other remedy required by applicable law or platform policies.

ReelLove may also voluntarily offer additional remedies.

13.5 Payments

Purchases may be processed through Apple, Google, or another authorized payment provider.

Applicable prices, taxes, fees, and material purchase terms will be disclosed before payment.

Purchases are also subject to the applicable payment provider’s terms.

13.6 Refunds

Purchases of Coins and other digital products are generally final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law or permitted by the applicable payment platform.

Purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to their respective refund policies.

If a transaction is refunded, reversed, or charged back, ReelLove may adjust the associated Coin balance or digital entitlements where legally permitted.

If purchased Coins or digital products are not delivered correctly, contact support@reellove.video.

ReelLove will investigate reported purchase problems and provide an appropriate remedy where required.

13.7 Subscriptions

ReelLove may offer recurring subscriptions.

Subscription prices, billing intervals, renewal terms, and included benefits will be disclosed before purchase.

Subscriptions that automatically renew will continue until canceled through the applicable purchase platform or authorized cancellation method.

Cancellation generally prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund completed billing periods.

Subscription changes, cancellation rights, and refunds are subject to applicable law and platform requirements.

13.8 Beta and Promotional Purchases

Beta pricing, introductory offers, and promotional packages may differ from public-launch pricing.

Purchased Coins remain associated with the applicable account after beta, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

14. Copyright Complaints and Repeat Infringers

ReelLove respects the intellectual property rights of creators and rights holders.

If you believe material available through the Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a written complaint containing:

Your name and contact information.
Identification of the copyrighted work.
Identification and location of the allegedly infringing material.
A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
Your physical or electronic signature.

Where applicable, ReelLove will process qualifying copyright notices and counter-notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other applicable laws.

ReelLove may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Knowingly submitting false infringement claims may result in legal consequences.

15. Third-Party Content and Services

The Services may include content licensed from third-party creators, studios, distributors, or rights holders.

Such content remains subject to the applicable ownership and licensing arrangements.

The fan-content permissions in Section 7 apply only to rights ReelLove controls and may not extend to separately licensed third-party works.

The Services may also link to external websites, communities, and platforms.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

ReelLove is not responsible for third-party services except where applicable law provides otherwise.

16. Community Platforms and Social Media

ReelLove may operate official accounts or communities on platforms such as Discord, Instagram, TikTok, X, and other services.

Participation is subject to the applicable third-party platform’s terms and community standards.

Fan communities are welcome but must not falsely represent themselves as official ReelLove operations.

ReelLove may establish separate community guidelines.

17. Privacy

ReelLove’s collection, use, and handling of personal information are described in its Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review that policy.

Where required by law, ReelLove will obtain appropriate consent for particular data-processing activities.

18. Availability and Service Changes

ReelLove aims to provide reliable access but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The Services may experience maintenance, technical issues, outages, or content availability changes.

ReelLove may modify or discontinue features for legitimate business, legal, security, or operational reasons.

Paid digital products remain subject to the consumer protections described in Section 13 and applicable law.

19. No Guarantee of Future Features or Releases

Announcements regarding planned series, episodes, features, release dates, beta programs, pricing, or other developments reflect current intentions and may change.

Unless separately agreed in writing, such announcements do not constitute binding commitments.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and ReelLove Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

ReelLove disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the extent such warranties may lawfully be disclaimed.

ReelLove does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Nothing in this section excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReelLove and its officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReelLove’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of:

The amount paid by the user for or through the Services during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
US $100.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

22. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify ReelLove and persons acting on its behalf against third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, material violations of these Terms, or content you submit in violation of another person’s rights.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from ReelLove’s own unlawful conduct, negligence, or willful misconduct where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

23. Suspension and Termination

ReelLove may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary due to:

Material violations of these Terms.
Fraudulent or abusive activity.
Security or operational risks.
Legal requirements.
Discontinuation of a Service.

Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, ReelLove may provide notice.

Termination may affect access to unlocked content, subscriptions, Coins, or other digital benefits, subject to applicable law and platform policies.

If ReelLove permanently discontinues its Services, outstanding purchased Coins and other paid entitlements will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and platform requirements.

Provisions intended to survive termination, including intellectual property rights, applicable licenses, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will remain effective.

24. Changes to These Terms

ReelLove may update these Terms as its Services evolve.

The updated version will display a revised effective or last-updated date.

Where legally required, ReelLove will provide additional notice or obtain consent before material changes take effect.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the Services.

25. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Disputes arising from the Terms or Services will be resolved in state or federal courts with appropriate jurisdiction in California, unless applicable law provides the user with a right to bring claims elsewhere.

Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

26. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed as necessary.

The remaining provisions will remain effective.

27. No Waiver

Failure by ReelLove to enforce a provision immediately does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later.

28. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional applicable service-specific terms constitute the agreement between users and ReelLove concerning use of the Services.

Separate written employment, contractor, production, commissioning, licensing, or creator agreements govern their respective subject matter.
