Terms of Service

Last Updated: August 28, 2026

1. Agreement to These Terms

Welcome to ReelLove. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ReelLove website located at reellove.info, any beta or early-access versions of ReelLove, and any other websites, applications, features, content, or services that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, joining a beta or waitlist, or otherwise interacting with the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

Because ReelLove is currently in development, the Services available to you may change over time. Certain provisions of these Terms may apply only when the relevant feature or Service becomes available.

2. About ReelLove

ReelLove is a digital entertainment platform focused on short-form, vertical storytelling and related entertainment experiences.

ReelLove is currently in development and may offer previews, beta programs, waitlists, community experiences, experimental features, original content, and other pre-release services. We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Services at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Services with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

Certain ReelLove programs, including employment, contractor, creator, or professional opportunities, may have additional eligibility requirements.

ReelLove is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit personal information through the Services.

4. Beta and Early Access

ReelLove may occasionally provide access to beta, preview, experimental, pre-release, or early-access versions of the Services (“Beta Services”). Beta Services are provided for testing and evaluation and may not operate as expected.

By participating in a Beta Service, you understand and agree that:

  • Beta Services may contain bugs, errors, interruptions, incomplete functionality, or other problems.

  • Features may be added, changed, redesigned, restricted, or removed without notice.

  • Content or information associated with a Beta Service may be changed or deleted.

  • We do not guarantee that any Beta Service or feature will ever become publicly available.

  • Joining a waitlist does not guarantee access to a Beta Service.

  • We may limit the number of beta participants or determine eligibility for beta access.

  • We may suspend or terminate a Beta Service or your access to it at any time.

  • You should not rely on a Beta Service for any critical purpose.

Participation in a beta does not create an employment, partnership, agency, joint venture, or other business relationship between you and ReelLove. Additional beta-specific rules may be provided when a particular Beta Service becomes available. If those additional rules conflict with these Terms regarding that Beta Service, the additional rules will control.

Beta Testing and Feedback. By participating in a Beta Service, you may be asked to test features and provide feedback about your experience. You acknowledge that Beta Services are pre-release and are provided primarily for testing, evaluation, and development purposes.

You agree that participation in a beta does not give you ownership or other rights in the Beta Services, ReelLove Content, or any features, designs, concepts, or technology made available through the beta. Any feedback, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, or other comments you voluntarily provide specifically about the Beta Services may be used by ReelLove to develop, improve, modify, or commercialize its products and services without compensation or obligation to you, subject to applicable law.

Confidential Beta Features. ReelLove may designate certain Beta Services, features, materials, or information as confidential or non-public. If we clearly tell you that particular beta materials are confidential, you agree not to publicly disclose, reproduce, distribute, screenshot, record, or share those materials without our permission until they are publicly released or we tell you that the restriction no longer applies. Unless ReelLove specifically designates something as confidential, participation in a ReelLove beta does not by itself create a general confidentiality obligation.

5. Waitlists and Communications

You may have the opportunity to join a ReelLove waitlist, beta list, mailing list, or similar program. When you voluntarily provide your contact information, we may use it to communicate with you regarding ReelLove, including beta access, launch information, important product updates, and other communications consistent with the choices you make when providing your information.

Joining a waitlist does not guarantee beta access, early access, a particular launch date, or access to any specific ReelLove feature. You may unsubscribe from promotional email communications where applicable using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in those communications.

6. Intellectual Property

The Services and their contents may include software, website designs, interfaces, graphics, illustrations, artwork, characters, stories, scripts, videos, animations, audio, logos, names, trademarks, text, photographs, and other materials (“ReelLove Content”). ReelLove Content is owned by ReelLove or used with permission from the applicable owner and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, ReelLove grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable right to access and use the Services and ReelLove Content for their intended purposes.

Unless we give you written permission, you may not reproduce, distribute, sell, license, publicly display, commercially exploit, modify, republish, or create unauthorized derivative works from ReelLove Content. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of ReelLove Content or ReelLove intellectual property to you.

7. Creator, Career, and Work With Us Submissions

ReelLove may allow writers, artists, filmmakers, editors, designers, engineers, creators, and other individuals to contact us about potential opportunities. You may submit information such as your name, contact information, portfolio, social media profiles, professional background, creative interests, descriptions of your work, or ideas about what you would like to create with ReelLove.

Submitting materials does not guarantee that ReelLove will contact you, review every portion of your materials, offer you employment, enter into a contractor relationship, purchase or license your work, develop your idea, or otherwise pursue a relationship with you. A submission does not create an employment, contractor, partnership, agency, fiduciary, or other business relationship between you and ReelLove.

Ownership of Your Creative Work. You retain ownership of original creative materials that you submit to ReelLove unless you and ReelLove separately agree otherwise in writing. Simply submitting a story concept, portfolio, script, artwork, video, pitch, or other creative material through our website does not, by itself, transfer ownership of that material to ReelLove.

If ReelLove chooses to develop, commission, license, acquire, or otherwise use your creative work, the applicable rights, compensation, ownership, and other terms may be addressed in a separate written agreement.

Similar Ideas. You understand that ReelLove may already be developing, considering, or receiving projects, concepts, characters, themes, formats, or ideas that are similar to something you submit. The existence of similarities alone does not mean that ReelLove copied or used your submission.

Nothing in these Terms prevents ReelLove from independently creating, developing, acquiring, or working with material that is similar to your submission, provided that ReelLove does not use your protected creative material in violation of applicable law or a separate agreement with you.

Your Responsibility for Submitted Materials. You represent that you have the right to submit the materials you provide to us and that doing so does not knowingly infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.

Please do not submit confidential information through a general website form unless ReelLove has specifically agreed in writing to receive it confidentially.

8. Feedback About ReelLove

You may voluntarily provide feedback, suggestions, feature requests, comments, or ideas specifically about improving ReelLove or the Services (“Feedback”). Feedback is different from original creative work submitted through a creator or professional submission.

You grant ReelLove a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, develop, and otherwise use Feedback for any lawful purpose without compensation or attribution to you.

For example, if you suggest that ReelLove add a particular app feature, improve a button, change a recommendation system, or introduce a new product capability, ReelLove may use that suggestion without owing you compensation.

This Feedback provision does not transfer ownership of an original screenplay, story, artwork, video, character, or other creative work merely because you submitted it through a ReelLove creator or professional opportunity.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • use the Services to violate any applicable law or regulation;

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, accounts, systems, servers, or networks;

  • interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Services;

  • introduce malware, malicious code, viruses, or other harmful technology;

  • circumvent security, access-control, geographic, technical, or content-protection measures;

  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with another person or organization;

  • use automated tools to scrape, extract, collect, or reproduce substantial portions of the Services without our permission;

  • use the Services to spam, harass, threaten, defraud, or harm another person;

  • submit content that you do not have the right to submit;

  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights belonging to ReelLove or another person;

  • use ReelLove Content to falsely suggest sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with ReelLove;

  • commercially exploit the Services or ReelLove Content except where ReelLove expressly permits it; or

  • attempt to assist another person in doing any of the above.

We may restrict or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

10. Community and Third-Party Platforms

ReelLove may maintain communities or accounts on third-party platforms such as Discord and social media services.

Your use of those platforms is also governed by the applicable third party’s own terms, privacy policies, and community rules.

ReelLove does not control those third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, policies, or practices. Participation in a ReelLove community may also be subject to separate community guidelines.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to websites, applications, communities, platforms, or services operated by third parties.

Those links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily mean ReelLove endorses or controls the third party.

Your interactions with third-party services are governed by the terms and privacy practices of those providers. ReelLove is not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, products, security, availability, or practices.

12. Future Accounts and Features

ReelLove may introduce user accounts, profiles, community features, comments, saved content, rewards, virtual items, subscriptions, purchases, or other functionality in the future.

Those features may be governed by additional or updated terms presented when they become available.

Nothing displayed on a pre-launch website, mockup, preview, promotional page, or Beta Service guarantees that a particular feature, price, subscription, reward, piece of content, or functionality will be included in the final Services.

13. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the ReelLove Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review our Privacy Policy.

14. Availability of the Services

We want ReelLove to work reliably, but we cannot guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time, including for maintenance, security, testing, legal, operational, or business reasons.

We are not responsible for losses resulting solely from the unavailability or modification of a free or pre-release Service except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

15. No Guarantee of Future Features or Launch

Statements regarding planned features, content, release dates, beta programs, products, pricing, or other future plans reflect our current intentions only.

Plans can change.

Unless ReelLove expressly enters into a binding written agreement stating otherwise, you should not rely on a statement about a future ReelLove feature, launch date, product, creator opportunity, or other future development as a contractual commitment.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES AND REELLOVE CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

REELLOVE DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT SUCH WARRANTIES MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECT WILL BE CORRECTED.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REELLOVE AND THE PEOPLE WORKING ON OR PROVIDING THE SERVICES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES.

THIS INCLUDES, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELLOVE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE FREE, PRE-LAUNCH SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID REELLOVE FOR THE APPLICABLE SERVICE DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.

Because ReelLove’s current website and pre-launch services may be offered without charge, the amount paid may be zero.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReelLove and the people working on its behalf from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  1. your unlawful use of the Services;

  2. your material violation of these Terms;

  3. materials you submit that infringe or violate another person’s rights; or

  4. your violation of applicable law.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from ReelLove’s own unlawful conduct, negligence, or willful misconduct where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to some or all of the Services if:

  • you materially violate these Terms;

  • your use creates a security, legal, or operational risk;

  • we reasonably suspect fraudulent or abusive activity;

  • we are required to do so by law; or

  • the applicable Service or beta program is discontinued.

Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we may provide notice before taking such action.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and applicable submission rights, will continue to apply.

20. Changes to These Terms

ReelLove will evolve, so we may update these Terms from time to time.

When we update them, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

If a change is material and applicable law requires additional notice, we may provide notice through the Services, by email, or through another appropriate method.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using the Services.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts with appropriate jurisdiction in California, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.

The remaining provisions will remain in effect.

23. No Waiver

If ReelLove does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly applicable to a particular ReelLove Service, constitute the agreement between you and ReelLove regarding your use of the Services.

Any separate written agreement you enter into with ReelLove, such as an employment, contractor, licensing, production, or creator agreement, will govern the subject matter of that agreement.
